Claire has been the perfect wife to Damian for years, yet never cherished. Damian still carries his first love Ava in his heart; even Claire's wedding dress was tailored to Ava's measurements, so it never fits. He constantly favors Ava, even spending Claire's money on her. Her own family keeps bleeding her dry, her brother shoves her down the stairs, injuring her. After yet another betrayal by Damian and Ava, Claire finally wakes up. She divorces him, reclaims everything, returns to her career, and exposes the truth, ruining them both. Damian, too late, begs her back. She refuses coldly and walks into her own brilliant life.
