Clinical pharmacologist Emma discovers on her third wedding anniversary why her husband Ryan hasn't touched her in three years — he was proving his loyalty to Claire, his late brother's widow. Heartbroken, Emma leaves that night and returns to Boston to restart her research career. Only after losing her does Ryan realize he truly loves her and desperately tries to win her back. But Alex, the head of Grant Health who has cared for Emma for nine years, has always been there — silently protecting her, respecting every choice she makes. Unwilling to lose everything, Claire attacks Emma with lies, kidnapping, and corporate theft. In the end, Emma and Alex stand together, expose Claire's true face, and claim the love and success she deserves. Real love waits. Real love wins.
