A Favor for a Foe

Cindy, a white snake, loved Adam, who met an untimely demise. She preserved a wisp of his soul within the Inner Pearl. Carter, however, constantly opposed her and even tried to steal the Pearl. Pushed to her limit, Cindy struck back—forcing Carter to watch everything he cherished crumble, leaving him in utter despair. She then dedicated her life to medicine, steadfastly fulfilling Adam's dream.
