After her marriage, Emilia Barrett is cheated out of her properties by her husband and in-laws. Using her unparalleled gambling skills, she strikes back—taking it all back, exposing that her unborn child is actually her husband’s lovechild, and forcing him out crippled and penniless. When the revenge-seeking Card Master arrives, she outplays him too, making the Langley family reap what they sowed.
