Another New Year's Eve

Cynthia marries John against her father Richard's wishes. After childbirth complications, Richard takes Cynthia to a better hospital, demands a divorce, and forbids John and their daughter Serena from seeing Cynthia. John raises Serena alone but later, diagnosed with cancer. Serena seeks Cynthia’s help but is blocked. John eventually dies.
