Crown of Ashes

Betrayed by Oliver and slain for the sake of Stella, a dragon of humble birth, Princess Claire is given a second chance before her spouse selection. This time, she turns away from the greedy pair and chooses the faithful guard Vince. During the deadly Lightning Trial, Oliver and Stella are undone by their own greed, while Vince endures with Claire’s support and rises as the Dragon Emperor. In the end, he offers Claire a phoenix tree to ease her sorrow, and the two find happiness at last.
