Sophie, 28, is trapped in a passionless marriage to Timothy, a professor consumed by research. A camping trip with his younger brother Leo, a 22-year-old athlete, ignites forbidden desire. A rainstorm forces them into one tent; pressed against Leo's bare back, Sophie succumbs. By the creek, Leo catches her touching herself. Under Timothy's snores, they consummate their chemistry. Back home, the suburban villa becomes their playground, pool, master bed, whenever Timothy is away. Crisis hits when Timothy nearly catches them, then announces he wants a baby. Sophie becomes pregnant. Timothy, ecstatic yet cautious, hires live-in help: Leo. Now Sophie is locked into a perpetual scandalous dynamic under her husband's completely oblivious blessing.
