Forgot the Ex, Called His Roommate Babe

After six months of losing weight, Ava wakes from a car crash with no memory and two men on her contacts list. One once mocked her nearly two-hundred-pound body and kept her out of the hockey rink; the other treated her gently, bringing antacids and driving eighty miles round-trip with birthday cake. Not knowing the truth, Ava calls Ethan her boyfriend and even calls him "Babe," though he is really her ex Blake’s roommate. Ethan, who had quietly loved her before the weight loss, races through a storm to stay by her side. Then Blake meets the new Ava, doesn’t recognize her, asks for her number, and insults his own "big" ex—right in front of her.
