I Chose the Man My Ex Fears the Dreads

Ivy has spent years waiting for Kieran, the sweet-talking hockey captain who keeps her close but never truly chooses her. During a scrimmage, his teammates turn her into a joke and send her to distract rival captain Roman with a bottle of water. But the prank takes an unexpected turn when Roman—intense on the ice and surprisingly kind away from it—starts showing her real interest. As Ivy experiences genuine attention, respect, and certainty for the first time, Kieran’s jealousy pushes him to try to win her back. This time, Ivy is done waiting. Choosing Roman means choosing herself, drawing the line, and leaving Kieran behind.
