Alan is a legendary mech pilot. Ten years ago, he hurt the Hive Mother and pushed back the swarm with his wife Hathaway, but Hathaway died on the battlefield. What's worse, his comrade Danny stole all the credit and framed him for disobeying orders and getting a battalion killed. He worked as a simple mechanic for ten years.
