Tessa, a terminally ill high school senior with just a month left, is shattered when her mother’s betrayal turns Nolan—the boy she once loved—against her. Harassed, blamed, and left alone, she vanishes after prom. Ten years later, Nolan has become successful, only to learn Tessa was declared dead. Wracked with guilt, he goes back to confront the past, but the death certificate, autopsy, and medical records don’t match. The deeper he digs, the more he wonders: what really happened that night?
