She Married Her Ex's Comatose War Hero Uncle

Darcie Mayo catches her fiancé Hugh cheating days before their wedding and burns the marriage contract in public. She marries Hugh's comatose war hero uncle Fleet, who is fully conscious and communicates through finger twitches. As the new lady of the Maxwell estate, she outmaneuvers her hostile mother-in-law and her own scheming stepfamily to seize full control. She saves her late mother's company from sabotage and stays by Fleet's side through a life-threatening crisis until he wakes and confesses his love.
