The Day My Son Stopped Saying Daddy

Alpha Damon repeatedly neglected his own son, Finn, choosing instead to care for his adopted sister’s son, Nico. Finn’s father was absent time and again—on his sixth birthday, during the Moon Ceremony, and on Family Day. His excitement slowly turned into heartbreak and despair. Unable to bear watching her son suffer any longer, his mother, Elara, severed their mate bond and took Finn back to her northern homeland. Damon eventually realized what he had lost and stripped himself of his own authority in remorse. Two years later, he traveled north to beg for forgiveness, only to find that Finn no longer longed for his father’s love.
