Betrayed by Giant King, Dragon King Aurion falls to earth; Serena conceives after one night; they part. A Count buys Serena, cuts the dragon egg from her, cages both 8 years. Coriel doubles for the boy in a magic-sealing bracelet. Aurion searches years in vain, then finds the estate—the 'prodigy' is fake, his true son the one he flogged and exiled.
