The Runaway Groom's Tale

Chu Tianyi, dodging marriage, meets Fang Wanruo at a bar. After crashing a wedding and exposing the groom Wei Ziming’s affair, he thwarts Fang’s forced marriage and crushes the Wei family with the Qilin Chamber’s help. When Wei retaliates by kidnapping Fang, Chu rescues her. His ex-fiancée Wu Yuyan sanctions his allies, but he counters using his secret Dragon’s Den authority and fakes a romance to deceive her. His cousin Chu Xiyue’s plot to frame him backfires. In the climax, Wei’s father kidnaps Fang and triggers a bomb, but Chu’s ally disarms it.
