The Silent Vow

Kael Voss leaves the Spire of Silence to find the one fate has chosen for him, only to end up bound by a marriage contract to Lyla Ashford, a fallen noble’s daughter. As he helps the Ashford family through their crisis, the side effects of his first Word-Magic use begin to appear. With danger closing in, Kael’s powers grow through steady practice, and the childhood connection he once shared with Lyla slowly comes back to light.
