Through the Ages: Building an Empire with Prepared Dishes

Bowen Lim, a fresh grad in culinary arts, inherits Lim Kee Restaurant from his grandpa but is slammed with massive debt and pressure from Tim Chao, a prepared dish factory owner. Just when things look hopeless, he discovers his family's jade pendant can send him back in time to the Liang Kingdom. He brings modern prepared dishes to the ancient world, selling them as "Ambrosia" to starving troops and trading them for priceless antiques and paintings. Back in the modern day, Old Charlie, an antique shop owner, helps him cash in on those treasures, clearing his debts and renovating the restaurant. As business takes off, he crosses paths with Princess Changle, wins royal backing, and launches a chain of Lim Kee Restaurants. Eventually, at the Imperial Kitchen's Tasting Event, his prepared dishes steal the show, letting him take his restaurant global and finally fulfill his grandpa's dream.
