Torn Between Love and Hate

While unconscious on the operating table, An Yue recalls how a car accident at 20 left her with temporary aplastic anemia, making her a bone marrow donor for her sister An Xin. After a one-night stand with Jiang Qingzhan—who mistakenly believes it was with An Xin—An Yue becomes pregnant and decides to marry him. However, Jiang treats her coldly and constantly makes things difficult. Jealous that An Yue married the man she loves, An Xin causes her miscarriage and continues to torment her—eventually controlling her, harvesting her marrow, and kidnapping and abusing her. An Yue is rescued by Gong Yuzhan. As the truth begins to unravel, Jiang Qingzhan starts to suspect what really happened. An Yue files for divorce and, with Gong Yuzhan's help, uncovers a scheme involving An Xin and Jiang Qingzhou, the Jiang family's illegitimate son. When the truth is finally exposed, Jiang realizes his love for An Yue, and they ultimately reunite in marriage.
