Wolf of the North

Raised by wolves in the northern wilderness, Avalyn is taken back by Duke Snow, the father who lost her, only to be pulled into the danger of the royal court. When her father is murdered, she learns to wait, to watch, and to strike with care. Using her fearless heart and her gift for taming beasts, she defeats her foes, ends barbarian unrest, and rises to fame throughout the kingdom. In the end, she discovers she is the missing heir of the Sacred Court of All Beasts, returns to the divine realm, brings the usurper to justice, and claims the Throne of All Beasts.
